We'll depart early from Quito towards northwestern Pichincha, where we'll enjoy a delicious country breakfast before venturing into a hummingbird garden, a natural paradise ideal for photography and biodiversity enthusiasts. We'll continue to the Tulipe archaeological site, an ancient ceremonial center of the Yumbo culture, and then savor a typical regional lunch. In the afternoon, we'll explore the majestic El Gallo de la Peña waterfall, surrounded by lush vegetation, and conclude with a warm community experience in Pacto, where we'll learn about the artisanal process of making panela (unrefined cane sugar) and taste this traditional sweet.
