The Alameda Park will have a show of electronic music, visual art and lights, creating an unforgettable event in the city of Quito. This event is part of the programming of the Summer of Arts, Culture and Sports organized by the Mayor's Office of Quito, and will take place on August 23 and 24 from 5:00 p.m....
A Multidisciplinary Show
Capitol Land promises to be a multidisciplinary event that will bring together outstanding national and international artists on three main stages:
- Balcony of the Capitol Theater: Here, renowned electronic music DJs will perform along with impressive mapping projections.
- Astronomical Observatory: A space dedicated to electronic fusion music, where live music producers will be complemented by mapping for a unique audiovisual experience.
- Simon Bolivar Monument: This stage will feature vintage DJs performing demonstrations of analog mixing on vinyl, offering a musical selection ranging from electronica to funk and retro rock.
Art Installations and Mapping
One of the main attractions will be the light installation designed by artist Iza Paez in La Alameda Park, which will use LED tubes and screens to create a fascinating visual tour. In addition, the facades of the Capitol Theater and the Astronomical Observatory will be intervened with mapping projections by Felipe Jácome Reyes, integrating visual animation with live presentations.
Capitol Land Kids: A Space for the Little Ones
Capitol Land will also include a space dedicated to children, called Capitol Land Kidswhere the little ones will be able to have their first approach to electronic music through dynamic stations and playful experiences. This space is ideal for children, accompanied by their families, to explore their creativity in a safe and entertaining environment.
