Importance of the Event

The Confederación de Entidades Organizadoras de Congresos y Afines de América Latina has the primary objective of developing the growth of the meetings industry in Latin America, with a social focus based on strengthening its value chain.

This congress will be the epicenter of this industry, related to meeting tourism, which has a valuable influence on Ecuador's economy.

Economic Impact and Employment Generation

Meetings tourism has a significant impact on Ecuador's economy, boosting employment generation and benefiting different sectors, both public and private. These sectors include advertising, food, locations, transportation, decoration, lodging and other services.

Previous Events in Quito

In the first half of this year alone, Quito hosted 25 international and 24 national meetings, including professional, medical, industrial, cultural, academic and tourism events. By December 2024, 20 more international and 13 national events are expected to take place, consolidating Quito as a key destination for the meetings industry.
