Culture Description

The sanctuary details the founding of the Oblate Missionaries in 1884. Its design was based on Rome’s Santa Maria Basilica. Built between 1913 and 1924 by Father Bruning, it reflects Romantic and Gothic styles. In 1944, the Oblate Missionaries’ Community was founded in Quinche.
