RUTA PESEBRE NAVIDEÑOS

We will visit the tunnels of the Carmen Bajo convent and admire the oldest Nativity scene in Quito, belonging to the Carmelite nuns. We will taste delicious Paccari chocolates at the El Quinde store. During Christmas, the San Francisco convent commemorates the first Nativity scene made by Saint Francis of Assisi. During these days, around 100 Nativity scenes will be on display. Every December, the Carmen Alto Nativity scene, comprising hundreds of sculptures from the 17th to the 20th centuries, is exhibited.
